Internship Overview

Core Responsibilities:
- Case Briefing: Distilling voluminous case files into concise summaries, identifying the core legal questions (Ratio Decidendi) and relevant facts.
- Deep-Dive Research: Utilizing legal databases like SCC Online and Manupatra to research evolving points of law and international precedents.
- Court Observation: Attending daily proceedings to witness the oral advocacy of India’s leading Senior Counsel and the judicial deliberations of the Bench.
- Minutes & Documentation: Taking detailed notes during proceedings and internal meetings to assist in the drafting process.
Eligibility & Expectations
The office maintains rigorous standards for academic and professional conduct:
- 5-Year LL.B.: 4th year or above.
- 3-Year LL.B.: 2nd year or above.
- Professionalism: Interns must maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion regarding all chamber discussions and documents.
- Schedule: Internships typically commence on the 1st working day of every month.
